Wow! I can't believe Christmas is over! It all went by so fast. We had the best time in Elk City over Christmas. We were lucky we decided to drive out on Wed. We beat the big blizzard! It was such a crazy winter storm. People were stranded all over Oklahoma. Some people had to spend Christmas Eve in there cars on the highway. It was bad.
We always go over to my grandmas house on Christmas Eve and open gifts, eat, and sing a few carols, but not this year. The weather was so bad that we could not get out of the driveway. We were snowed in. My dad tried to dig us out with his tractor but it was no use. The wind was so bad that we would have been snowed in again within a few hours. It was so fun though. Mom, dad, Jennifer, Trey, Aubrey and I watched Christmas movies, ate a great dinner, and opened our gifts from each other. We were able to go to my grandmas the next day were we ate way too much and exchanged our gifts. We also sang our carols and played our Christmas bingo. My mom started bingo several years back and it's really fun. Each person brings a wrapped five dollar gift and we play dirty Santa bingo. It is so fun to see what bingo prize everyone brings.
Aubrey really enjoyed her first Christmas! Well, as much as a 3 month old can. We set out the milk and cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve and put her to bed a little early so Santa could come. My mom has a Santa plate that we put the cookies on. My sister and I used the same plate when we were little. So many great memories. Now it's Aubrey's turn. Christmas morning we woke up and had fun going through our stockings. This Christmas was awesome. Aubrey is such a blessing and makes everything so fun. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful little girl! God is SO good!

It's almost Christmas!
Wow, I can't believe it's almost Christmas! I finally got all of my shopping and wrapping done. I also finished all of our Christmas cards. Mica helped me make a Christmas/baby announcement to send out this year. SO cute!
Aubrey and I went to Elk city for about 10 days to stay with mom and dad because Trey was busy flying. It was her first road trip and she did awesome! She slept the whole way. Mom had a room set up just like her nersery at home. We had fun showing her off to my moms coffee group friends and to our church in Elk City. We had a blast and did alot of shopping. Mom helped me wrap too which was nice. It is so much harder to get everything finished with a 2 month old. Well, actually she is almost 10 weeks old. Aubrey is getting so big.
Today was a big day for her. She got her first round of shots! She was not happy about it either! It did not take too long to calm her down though. She is so brave. She has two little band aids on her legs. So cute! The Dr. said she looked great and that she was 95% in height and in weight. She is 12 1/2 pounds and 23 inches long. I was just glad he did not say that she was like 40% in height and 95% in weight.
