Busy girl!
Aubrey is very busy these days! She has been able to roll from her tummy to her back for a couple of months but is now rolling from her back to her tummy all by herself! It is so cute! Yesterday she was in her crib for her nap and she just decided to roll to her tummy. We were shocked! She did this once or twice during her second nap as well. Last night when we put her down for the night we watched the monitor to see if she would do it again and sure enough it was not one minute later when flip, there she went. She can roll back over by herself but occasionally needs a little help. She has rolled over several times today and has started pushing up with her arms more and more. She even plays with a toy or two while on her tummy. Such a big girl. Today I thought I would take a couple of pictures of my little flipper. SO cute!

OSU here I come!
This past Sat. we drove up to Stillwater to attend Trey's cousin Samantha's graduation from OSU! It was such a fun day! Aubrey looked so cute in her orange and black! She was such a good girl during the ceremony and really enjoyed dipping her toes into the library fountain afterward. We showed her the spot where Trey and I met and had a coke in the Student Union. I really think she likes it there, so Trey and I went ahead and enrolled her for the 2028 semester! What a cute little cowgirl! We then came back and all ate Ted's followed by cake and homemade ice cream at our house. Aubrey was ready for bed that night! Too much fun! Congrats Sam!

It's no fun being sick!
We have had a rough couple of weeks around our house. A few days after Aubrey got her six month shots she started getting a runny nose followed by a cough. The cough got worse as the week went on. She was really fussy and was not sleeping well. We gave her Tylenol and used the humidifier but she just didn't get better. We took her to the Dr. last week to make sure it was not moving to her chest and she was all clear. It was just a cold at that point. Trey and I also got sick. We must have been just passing it around because Aubrey didn't seem to get any better. She was having a really hard time napping and sleeping at night because of her cough. Poor girl! We went back to the Dr. this past Monday and now on top of her cold she has her first ear infection! Dr. Krous got her started on antibiotics. The past two days have been great! We feel like we have our happy baby girl back. She is no longer fussy and is sleeping much better. Thank you Lord for your healing hand and for good medicine! Trey and I are also feeling much better too. Trey took the monitor and slept in the guest room a couple of nights so I could get some rest! I was so thankful that he was home all week. It took the both of us to keep each other and Aubrey going! What a great husband. I have been spraying the house down with Lysol and we have been using hand sanitizer like crazy. I hate being sick but it is even worse when our sweet little one is sick. Yay for a happy baby!!!
