I can do this! I hope!

It's almost 9:00 pm and Trey just left for a short trip. It will be the first time with Kaden and Aubrey by myself! He will be home late Tuesday night. I guess I have to do this sometime. Just hope all goes smooth and that we can all get some rest with daddy gone. Trey is so much help when he is home. I'm so blessed with a husband like him and with his schedule! I love having him home all the time this time of year. He gets up with me at night to either do diaper duty or to rock Kaden to sleep after I feed him. We have so much fun and help each other during the day too. Now it's all me! I think I can, I think I can! Here goes!

Baby talk

Aubrey loves to hold Kaden. She talks and talks. So sweet!

Fall is here!

It's finally nice and cold outside. Really feels like Fall! What better to do then paint a pumpkin with my little artist!

If Aubrey wants you to turn up the TV she says, "speak it up!"

If she wants you to play Barbies or something with her where they talk she will say, "here momma, make them talk."

Aubrey is into calling daddy a goofball here lately. So funny!

Aubrey says the funniest things lately. I don't want to forget anything but I know that's impossible. I'm going to post as many as I can titled, She said what? Here are a few I wanted to remember so far...

Aubrey was in Elk City with my mom and they were in the hot tub. Mom was talking to her and was getting excited about something. Aubrey looked at her and said, "Honey you're so dramatic!"

Aubrey sometimes says, "come on Hun" to my mom instead of Honey. So funny! Aubrey thinks she is big stuff!

Kaden was crying earlier and Aubrey said, "oh Kaden you're so pitiful!"

Aubrey's Elk City weekend!

The week after Kaden was born mom took Aubrey to Elk for a fun weekend out of newborn land and to give Trey and me time with just Kaden. Aubrey had a blast as usual! They went to the park, looked at the stars in the hot tub, made cookies and decorated Honeys house for Halloween. Honey also took her for her first pedicure! She loved it and picked out purple glitter polish. Such a big girl! Aubrey has such a great Honey!

3 weeks today!

Our sweet Kaden is 3 weeks old today! Such a happy boy! He is doing so good at night and with his naps. He seems to like his crib, for now. He eats every 2-3 hours and loves kisses and cuddles from his big sister! We feel so blessed each day for our amazing family! God is so good!

After Kaden was born my mom came to stay with us for a week and Nanie came to stay for a week too. It was so nice to have the help around the house and extra love and attention for Aubrey! She made Whoopie pies with Honey and a strawberry cake with Nanie. Aubrey loves to cook and help in the kitchen. So fun!

Crumbled eggs

Aubrey asked Trey to fix her an egg this evening. She wanted "crumbled eggs." I love how she calls them "crumbled" and not scrambled! He made her one and she quickly devoured it. Then she asked for another and another! She ate 3 eggs! Seems like a lot to me. She kept saying, these eggs are yummy! Yummy in my tummy!

It's been over a year and Kaden Michael is here!

So it's been a while since my last post and so much has happened over the past year! Aubrey is now 3 and is growing and changing so much each day. She has such a sweet spirit and quit the personality! She keeps us entertained for sure! Such a cutie!
Our big news this year is that we have been blessed with a beautiful little boy. Kaden Michael was born on October 4, and weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 19 inches long. We are all in love with our sweet Kaden! Aubrey is such a great big sister and sings and talks to her precious brother all the time. Kaden is almost 3 weeks old now and is doing great! It's so much easier as a mom the 2nd time around. Maybe a 3rd? Jk! Lets see how this goes first!
