Welcome to Edmond Honey B!

Last Saturday we welcomed Honey B to Edmond. She moved into an independent living place called Touchmark. It's very nice and I hope she likes it there. Mom stayed the week to help her get unpacked and all set up. Her place looks really nice and she has already met several nice people.

The other day we went to Menchies  to get ice cream with Honey, Honey B and Jennifer. It was a little cool out and when Aubrey got cold she decided to crawl under Honeys shirt! Much better! Silly girl!

Yesterday Kaden went from doing the "worm" to actually crawling! He is all over the place now. The real work has begun!

Kaden the sleeper! Who knew!

For the past 9 months Kaden hasn't been the best sleeper. It took forever it seemed to get him to sleep all night and his naps were always more like cat naps. Lately though, he has been sleeping and napping like a champ! This past week he has slept 11-12 hours at night and 2 good naps during the day! Yay!! He wants to go to bed at 7:15 or 7:30, wakes around 5 for a bottle and then back down until close to 8:00. He naps for about an hour in the am and for 2+ hours in the afternoon! This has been a great week! It's just crazy in the best way! Such a nice change! My sweet boy really does love his momma!

Kaden is 9 months old

Kaden turned 9 months old on the 4th of July! He is changing so much and is starting to crawl. Well he is starting to do the worm anyway:) Kaden is talking, clapping, and waving more. He has one tooth that is popping out and has the darkest skin in our family. He loves to eat whatever we are eating and loves to swim. 

4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July! We went to the parade that morning. Trey got up early and went downtown with Papa to save some seats in the shade. They were all taken by 7:15. He ended up getting good seats anyway and since the weather was nice it was great! The parade started at 9:00. The kids sat on a blanket and we brought chairs. Jan, Terry, Brandon, Kim, Cari and Michael joined us with their kids! So fun being together! I love watching Aubrey enjoy parades! She loves them! I think Kaden liked it too! We then went to Jan and Terry's for BBQ. So yummy. After lunch the four of us headed to Elk for the big fireworks show that night. We swam that afternoon and ate hamburgers and hotdogs. So yummy!! We also enjoyed watermelon around the pool! The boys went to get some fireworks and after dinner we headed up to the park. We got our same spot from last year and started popping:) Aubrey loved it! It was such a nice evening. It's always so fun to be in Elk on the 4th! Mom always has the house decorated so cute and lots of yummy stuff to eat! Aubrey wanted to take her little tent to the park. She was funny going in and out to watch. We left the park around 10:15 and headed home. Honey B was watching Kaden since he was in bed. Too late for babies...Aubrey was pooped. Such a busy day for a 3 year old. Such a great day for everyone!

Zoo fun!

Wednesday we went to the zoo with some of our friends. The kids had a good time! The weather was nice and in the summer it only costs a dollar to get in on Wednesdays. The Zoo isn't my favorite but if its not hot, it's fun!

Aubrey and I went to Sprouts the other day to get some groceries. She had so much fun pushing this little cart around the store. I love my little helper!!
