Wow! I can't believe Christmas is over! It all went by so fast. We had the best time in Elk City over Christmas. We were lucky we decided to drive out on Wed. We beat the big blizzard! It was such a crazy winter storm. People were stranded all over Oklahoma. Some people had to spend Christmas Eve in there cars on the highway. It was bad.
We always go over to my grandmas house on Christmas Eve and open gifts, eat, and sing a few carols, but not this year. The weather was so bad that we could not get out of the driveway. We were snowed in. My dad tried to dig us out with his tractor but it was no use. The wind was so bad that we would have been snowed in again within a few hours. It was so fun though. Mom, dad, Jennifer, Trey, Aubrey and I watched Christmas movies, ate a great dinner, and opened our gifts from each other. We were able to go to my grandmas the next day were we ate way too much and exchanged our gifts. We also sang our carols and played our Christmas bingo. My mom started bingo several years back and it's really fun. Each person brings a wrapped five dollar gift and we play dirty Santa bingo. It is so fun to see what bingo prize everyone brings.
Aubrey really enjoyed her first Christmas! Well, as much as a 3 month old can. We set out the milk and cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve and put her to bed a little early so Santa could come. My mom has a Santa plate that we put the cookies on. My sister and I used the same plate when we were little. So many great memories. Now it's Aubrey's turn. Christmas morning we woke up and had fun going through our stockings. This Christmas was awesome. Aubrey is such a blessing and makes everything so fun. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful little girl! God is SO good!

It's almost Christmas!
Wow, I can't believe it's almost Christmas! I finally got all of my shopping and wrapping done. I also finished all of our Christmas cards. Mica helped me make a Christmas/baby announcement to send out this year. SO cute!
Aubrey and I went to Elk city for about 10 days to stay with mom and dad because Trey was busy flying. It was her first road trip and she did awesome! She slept the whole way. Mom had a room set up just like her nersery at home. We had fun showing her off to my moms coffee group friends and to our church in Elk City. We had a blast and did alot of shopping. Mom helped me wrap too which was nice. It is so much harder to get everything finished with a 2 month old. Well, actually she is almost 10 weeks old. Aubrey is getting so big.
Today was a big day for her. She got her first round of shots! She was not happy about it either! It did not take too long to calm her down though. She is so brave. She has two little band aids on her legs. So cute! The Dr. said she looked great and that she was 95% in height and in weight. She is 12 1/2 pounds and 23 inches long. I was just glad he did not say that she was like 40% in height and 95% in weight.

Wow, I can't believe Thanksgiving is over! We had a great holiday! I ate way too much food. I think you are supposed to do that though! We did Thanksgiving this year with Trey's family. His parents and Brandon and Kim came over Thur. for lunch. Jan made the most wonderful Thanksgiving feast! It was just the seven of us and it was so much fun. Of course everything is fun these days because of Aubrey!!! She is growing so fast. I can't believe that at this time next year she will be walking. We took a family picture Thur. afternoon. It was so beautiful outside this year! We all wore black with a little bit of red. Aubrey was in all red. She has to stand out of course! We even took Abby. She is feeling a little bit left out these days.
On Thur. before we ate, Terry handed each of us a note card. We each wrote the top ten things we were thankful for. Only ten? We have been so blessed! I am thankful for such an AWESOME God, the peace he provides, His timing, and the gift of salvation. I am so thankful for my wonderful husband and best friend, Trey! The biggest thing I am thankful for this year is my sweet Aubrey! I could not ask for more. I love my family and friends and I am so thankful for our church. We were able to move into our new house this year and God has provided more financially than we need. God is so good! Thank you Lord for this year!!! Friday Trey's uncle Shawn and his family flew in from Dallas for the day. We ate lunch and visited the rest of the afternoon. It was another pretty day! They brought their dog, Bo and we had fun watching Bo an Abby play in the yard together. Abby got more excercise than she has had in a long time. She was worn out. Sat. we put up our Christmas decorations. I can't believe Christmas is here! The tree looks great and the house is full of Hobby Lobby goodies. I love that store! I think we will skip the outside lights though. We are a little busy this year. I have to start shopping! I am getting a really late start on all my holiday shopping. I guess everyone will just get a picture of Aubrey! Of course that is what everyone wants anyway!

What a fun week! My mom came on Tue. and stayed through the weekend because Trey was on a work trip. Did I say "work" trip? He just had to fly his boss to Puerto Vallarta! What a hard job! I usually get to go on these kinds of trips, but not any more for a while. I had more fun staying home with Aubrey anyway! Who needs a tan. This week we also celebrated my mom and sisters birthdays. My dad came up on Friday to party with us. We ate way too much cake and changed way too many diapers. See, who needs Mexico?!
Love this weather! I took Aubrey on a walk this afternoon. She loves going for a walk. Well actually she just sleeps the whole time, but it is a good way for me to get her down for a nap. Strollers and car seats are magic!!!
I can't believe it is almost Thanksgiving! Where did November go? Oh yeah, I had a baby! We are having Thanksgiving here at our house this year. Trey's family will be here on Wed. Jan is doing all of the cooking! I am so excited to eat all of the yummy food! Love holidays!!! So many things to be thankful for!

We have the best baby in the world! No really! At 5 1/2 weeks she started sleeping through the night! Yay!!! She will sleep a good 7-9 hours. I will feed her for about 30 min. around 8:00 and then give her about 4 oz of formula. I think that is the trick. She gets nice a full and goes right to bed. I can just put her in her crib, even if she is still awake, and walk away. She lays in her bed making the sweetest sounds and then falls asleep. This could all change any day now, but I am really enjoying the new schedule. Aubrey was 6 weeks on Friday. Such a big girl! She is smiling a lot and has discovered her hands. She does not know what to do with them yet though. Everyday is more exciting and more fun than the day before. Sure do love this mommy thing!

Aubrey Grace is here!!!
Well I thought the arrival of our first baby would be a good time to start a blog. So here goes! Trey and I welcomed the most beautiful little girl into the world on October 9th. Aubrey Grace! She weighed 8lb 8oz and was 20 inches long. The whole labor experience was an adventure. Let's just say that 22 hours of labor ended in a c-section. Fun! I just could not dialate past a 4. I guess I have to make things difficult. We had lots of time to hang out with friends and family before Aubrey arrived though. She was born at 10:35 in the morning. She had a full head of dark hair, don't know where that came from, and a strong set of lungs. She came out ready to tell the world just what she thought. Trey and I are having so much fun with her. The first few weeks were hard but I think I am getting the hang of things now. Life is getting back to normal. Well, as normal as can be with a newborn. So much work but so worth it! My mom and Trey's mom have been here alot to help out. It is so nice to have such wonderful grandmas. Aubrey is now almost 6 weeks old! I can't believe how time flies! She is just now starting to smile. Makes me melt! Aubrey is such an easy baby, knock on wood, and did I mention the most beautiful baby in the world!!!
